Ted Talk, “Brain Magic”, the ted talk that I watched was about how a trained professional can get into people’s minds and use them for their senses and control the other person’s senses. The ted talk was set up like a magic show but it wasn’t a standard magic show where you see a guy pull a rabbit out of a top hat, he had actually used people for the magic. For example, he did a trick that he called voodoo trick where he selected two people from the crowd and had them stand on the stage in front of the audience. He then had one of them close their eyes and not to think or do anything. While she had her eyes closed he went up to the man and touched his back twice. He then told her to open her eyes and asked if she had felt anything and she surprisingly said “yes, you poked my back twice.” He then had her close her eyes once more and took the man’s arm and started poking his forearm, and after he did this he told her to open her eyes again. Once more he asked “did you feel anything?” she then said “yes you were poking my forearm” she had even pointed out the area, then he said “I never touched you, only the man.”

This Ted Talk that I watched wasn’t really a process analysis like we were assigned to watch, but he did somewhat tell you how a trained professional could get in some one’s head and do these things.it was interesting to watch because you wanted to tell yourself that it’s magic and there’s no way possible that magic is a real thing. But after watching it and looking back on it you then think to yourself how could these things happen, because there is no logical reasoning to back it up. This Ted Talk really left me wondering what I just watched because I had no clue on how any of the things he shows could have happened.
